It is located 7 miles west of Mason on highway 29 towards Menard, and just outside of the small Community of Grit. The ranch has two accessible locations from highway 29 on both sides of Honey Creek. The ranch has many oak trees, brush cover and Honey Creek (wet weather creek) bends through the property providing more tree canopy that most hill country properties. The ranch is a mile long, and encompasses 76 acres that provides some of the best deer, turkey and wildlife habitat in the hill country. A hand dug well is present on the property that currently provides water for livestock. Electricity on the property as well.
